This was by far one of the most fun and unique weddings I have had the pleasure to shoot. I remember when we first met for their consult and they told me their theme was “Geeky/nerdy everything” I knew it was going to be awesome. Their alter was made out of books, their bouquets were made out of comic book paper and lightsabers, the ceremony isle had book quotes, they threw their vows into the “goblet of fire,” and a million more awesome details that I would never be able to type all out. I think what I loved the most is how they tied everything together with some old hollywood glam. It was a magical night in Portland! I’m so happy to share it with you!

It was really fun and challenging to shoot bridals at night! I have never had to do that before! Playing with different lighting situations to get some romance was new and exciting. Right after bridals it was time to head back for the ceremony! They had a long time friend officiate the wedding in a cozy little ballroom.

And of course now it is time to PARTY!
